July 3rd 2013, Michael came up with the idea and created on his iPad the Meanies after watching a little girl getting her chemo treatment say "owwie" and Michael wanted to give her something to comfort her pain, throughout July Michael created his prototypes of Terry,Lily and Louie made them out of modeling clay and the "Meanies" were born.

                                          August 7th 2013, The Name "Michael's Meanies" was created along with the first website

August 17th 2013, Michael got a special award for Courage from Ron Green presented at the end of the Debbie Green 5k race
